Abstract

The article analyzes modern approaches to providing pedagogical education in European countries. The features of the theoretical and practical training of future teachers in Western Europe are explored. The experience of pedagogical training of specialists for primary education institutions in European countries is generalized and the general features of this process are clarified: an obligatory combination of general educational, special, psychological, pedagogical, and practical training. The most widespread competence approach is described and ways of its application in the pedagogical preparation of domestic specialists of the indicated direction are studied. The possibilities of adaptation of experience to the practice of the higher pedagogical institution of Ukraine are offered.

Taking into account the results of the functioning of different models of vocational and pedagogical education allows one to distinguish the place of the competent approach. Realization of its capabilities can become the proper basis for integration of the national system of training of future specialists of primary education institutions and European educational space. At the same time, there are clearly two levels of decision of this process: national (regulatory legal regulation) and institutional (content-procedural filling).
